RIP John Surtees

Sadly passed away today aged 83

Still think it's a disgrace he didn't get a knighthood when Stirling Moss & Jackie Stewart did. No doubt there is some political reason why.

I saw him go up the Goodwood hill a few times on different years. Still really fast for a guy who was in his 70s then, and a lot quicker than most people were pushing it on those days. Amazing.
I'm just here for the gasoline.

Sad news, a true talent on two and four wheels. :(
3 Blue cars, 1 Black car, No Burgandy car anymore! :o
