Just make sure you see a sample wheel at the refurbishers.

I just had mine done satin silver and they are quite matt identical to the originals but finish will vary depending where you get them done.

I thought magnesium was a bit ultra-specialist, and very expensive.

It is as about 30% lighter than ali ....+ you would probably only get 3 for the price of a complete Spider :thinking

I didn't think they were "normal" alloys as they are so difficult to clean ;) - Maybe because they are matt finish and not lacquered

My usual AutoGlym wheel cleaner, which works well on my other cars is useless on the Spider wheels

On a recommendation, I started using Code Clean pH neutral alloy wheel cleaner

Brilliant stuff :up

Spray it on, leave it 5 minutes and then jet it off = job done

It was meant to be a satin/matt finish to match the roll hoop and dashboard etc
