Would have to be the 110....but I cant afford one! Such a pretty car, and with a well tuned engine very rapid. After that either the GTA turbo that I'm buying or the LE Mans....but it would need to be more powerful than the standard 'a bit girlie' 185bhp cat engine!

Hi Richard

I was sticking to the straight 'Alpine' Alpines for this poll. If you include anything built in the factory then you start to include all the derivatives like the Gordinis, 5, 5 Turbo, Clio V6, Megan Cabriolet and even the Espace!

Admittedly most clubs count all of these as Renault Alpines (with the exception of perhaps the Megane & Espace!) but I was trying to keep to the pure Alpine Sportscars that didn't share a basic design with other 'non sporting' models.

Why not start another poll for your favourite car to come out of the factory...

Personal Favourites

Afraid its got to be a modified GTA Turbo for me, closely followed by the LeMans. A610's are better standard but are a bit softer, considerably heavier and the lines not so pure. Standard GTA's are a bit limp wristed. A110's pretty and fast but fragile and impracticle for regular daily use and as for A310's I'm not a fan at all. In my opinion they combine the worst aspects or the A110 and GTA in a less attractive bodyshell than either. [/img]

Its got be a Le Mans for me but it would need to be tweaked as 185bhp ain't going to do the job!

Better assume the Le Mans is a 'decat' for poll purposes then

Also seems that contrary to popular mythology no one loves an atmo

It has to be the Le Mans for my money. It has all the lovely lines of the GTA, plus the muscle car look with those arches...

I think a GTA Atmo, running triple carb inlet manifolds, but using 3 Renault 5 carbs, and a supercharger, and a full Devil manifolds and silencer system would be my favourite choice. I think A610 would be the best ever, if it was just as light at a GTA, and had the GTA's steering.
