Well today I have got the central locking to work of the key in the lock drivers door and replaced the 2 batteries in the key fob, which now works the alarm and passage door but drivers door actuator moves a little but not enough to lock or unlock the drivers door.
I guess that the actuator has had it does any one know what part number it is and where I can order one from?

Not necessarily ...... you might find that the mechanism is slightly seized up and tight ...... water may have got to it. Suggest you get to the lock/unlock mechanism and lubricate it. Also check the 5 pin connector on the back of the solenoid, and make sure it is clean and making good contact before you do anything else..

Looks good, there is a kit available (Alpine stereo to match your head unit) to utilise the original radio controls. I have one part of it but the other bit (a converter) is harder to find.

I wired my own connector to adapt the steering wheel controls as I couldn't find one! Not too difficult but I didn't make a note of the connections. D'oh!

I used the Autoleads Renault stalk adapter with my custom adapter.

Note that the front speakers are wired the wrong way round - right is swapped with left. I took the original radio connector out (there's an adapter fitted at the factory) and transposed the wires so that a standard ISO connector works correctly.

Today installed John's SS sport exhaust, mine is already de catted so was not sure how much it would alter the car's pick etc.

Its a lot smaller and lighter then the old system which will help and it was very easy to fit and it sounds so much better and the pick up of the engine is faster too, sound bit like an old F1 car when at 5000rpm. :up :D
